There are so many forms of spyware on the internet, that no one program has been able to stop it all, but if you choose just a couple from this list your computer will keep running as speedily as the day you brought it home.

• Lavasoft's  Adaware SE personal

- For their user friendly, efficient performance.

The others on this list may be more powerful, but can be intimidating for a novice.
